To support the invaluable work of this charity, Eurovia Surfacing South-East volunteered to renovate one of these frequently used pick-up points. Located in Clacton-on-Sea, the area had become uneven and overgrown with vegetation. Over the course of two days, and in spite of the wind and rain, Eurovia operatives worked to clear the area and lay a new surface of compact, recycled material. With over 60 tonne of material being cleared and 100 tonnes of plannings being laid, much of which by hand. However, the work was very much worthwhile, with the result being a new, safe parking area for the charity’s fleet of vehicles.

"We have been using this land for some time in agreement with another community group, as it has provided us a safe haven for a number of the vehicles in our fleet, so we are so grateful to Eurovia in completing this resurfacing work, which has enabled us to have much better access for our vehicles.

Prior to the completion of this work, we had to be very careful in parking the vehicles, so as to avoid the many pot holes and areas of overgrowth, some of which had the potential to cause damage to both our van fleet and our drivers personal vehicles.
The work has made the whole parking area, much safer and certainly more fit for purpose. Thank you again Eurovia."
