Through apprenticeship programmes, step up to Supervisor, leadership development, and future leaders training we support and provide the opportunities for our employees to progress their careers as far as they desire.
A great example of this is during the summer of 2022, 4 Eurovia Surfacing apprentices were the first to complete the Road Surfacing Operative (RSO) apprentices in the country. The award-winning 18-month course allows apprentices to develop personally and professionally, whilst ensuring a sustainable workforce for the future of our business. The scheme gives us the tools to upskill our existing workforce and to support the companies approach in the development of recruiting new apprentices into the business.
Within Eurovia Surfacing our continued people development of our people is promoted through our succession planning, which cascades down to a local level, and we are passionate about identifying opportunities for career progression for local staff, developing our people, and providing exciting career pathways.
With regular PDR’, (Personal Development Reviews), we ensure we have the right balance of skill sets, behaviours, and flexible structure in place to deal with the ever-changing work environment.
