In a remarkable display of teamwork and determination, at team from Eurovia consisting of Andrew Tomlins, Paul Goosey, Simon Moroney, Mark Coates, Richard Hoy and Paul Kidd recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge, a gruelling venture that involves climbing the highest peaks of Scotland, England, and Wales. This extraordinary feat was not only about reaching new heights but also about giving back to the community, as the team aimed to raise funds for Teens Unite ( www.teensunite.org ), a charity dedicated to supporting young people during, and after cancer.
The National Three Peaks Challenge consists of scaling Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales. Spanning approximately 23 miles of rugged terrain, with a total ascent of over 3,000 meters, the challenge tests both physical endurance and mental resilience. For the Eurovia team, it was a chance to bond, build camaraderie, and push personal limits while supporting a worthy cause.
Teens Unite is a charity that resonates deeply with many employees at Eurovia and is our chosen charity to support throughout 2025. Their mission is to empower young individuals facing life-altering circumstances. By providing support, mentorship, and opportunities for personal growth, Teens Unite helps these young people navigate their struggles and emerge stronger. The team’s participation in the Three Peaks Challenge aimed to raise awareness and funds to further this vital work.
A Teens Unite Spokesperson added: “Huge congratulations and thank you to the team at Eurovia - with your support we’ll be able to continue improving the lives of young people living with, and beyond cancer.”
Upon successfully completing the Three Peaks Challenge, the Eurovia team not only celebrated their individual achievements but also the collective impact they made for Teens Unite. The funds raised will go directly towards programs that provide essential support and transformative experiences for young individuals in need. The total raised currently sits at an amazing £13,796 and is still increasing. If you would like to add to this incredible total please visit: www.justgiving.com/team/euroviathreepeaks
Eurovia Managing Director, Paul Goosey commented: “I’m delighted with the team’s efforts, a very physical and mental challenge however with every peak scaled, our team felt a sense of purpose and motivation, knowing that our efforts were contributing to a meaningful cause.”
The journey doesn’t end here. The team’s commitment to giving back continues as they plan future fundraising events and initiatives. They hope to inspire others within Eurovia and beyond to join in supporting Teens Unite and similar causes, fostering a culture of compassion and community engagement.
