Administrators
There are many administration roles throughout Eurovia in a wide variety of areas including Finance, Office Management, Plant & Fleet, Human Resources, Payroll, Commercial and Operations.
Bid Team
Our bid teams write and prepare submissions to our clients and potential clients. It is the Bid Team’s role to manage all aspects of these quality submissions. Roles within the team focus on the development and communication of tender winning proposals, balancing quality and financial needs plus client liaison.
Buyer
It is the Buyer’s role to assist the business by providing a competitive supply chain management service. This will include supply chain negotiations for strategic tenders and finalising these negotiations during the mobilisation of successful contracts. Other roles in our purchasing teams include placing orders, negotiating rates and sourcing suppliers.
Contracts Manager Our colleagues in these roles manage all the day-to-day operational aspects of the Contract. This includes assisting in the pre-planning and pre-programming of tendered contracts, managing and promoting Safe Working processes, managing resources, liaison with residents and clients when needed, always working within the constraints and specification of each contract.
Estimator
The Estimator’s role is contribute towards a competitive and comprehensive estimating and contract pricing service. This will include analysing the Clients technical tender requirements and assisting in the preparation of commercially competitive financial tenders, often working at a fast pace, meeting deadlines.
Operative
Our Operatives are highly skilled, carrying out general maintenance, surfacing, street lighting and other works and operations on the highway. The role involves not just carrying out the work but ensuring it is done safely; also liaising with local residents and road users when necessary.
Site Agent
As a Site Agent you will supervise the efficient and effective running of our Operational activities, meeting all safety, environment and quality obligations. The role includes working with the client, carrying out site supervision and ensuring works are completed to specification.
Supervisor
The Supervisor’s role is to support the Site Agent or Contracts Manager in the effective running of local sites or our depots. This includes site supervision, people management , stock levels, site inspections and above all, ensuring high levels of safety.
Graduates
Graduates have the opportunity to join one of our development programmes to enable them to experience a wide array of disciplines and specialisms. Our Graduate Training Programme aims to provide all-round experience with as much responsibility as possible. We offer schemes in Civil Engineering; Quantity Surveying; General Management and more focused professional streams such as marketing or Human Resources.
Apprentices
Our Apprentices follow a one or two year programme, either at level 2 or level 3. These programmes can follow a highways maintenance route, business administration, ICT, Plant & Fleet and a whole host of other specialist programmes.
